The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) introduces new requirements for packaging placed on the EU market, aiming to improve packaging sustainability, recyclability, and circularity.
As a responsible partner, we are actively preparing for the implementation of PPWR and working closely with our suppliers, customers, and other value chain stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
Our Approach to PPWR
We are closely monitoring PPWR developments and taking the necessary steps to align our operations and packaging portfolio with the regulation's requirements based on our role in the value chain.
We focus on meeting the obligations that are currently applicable while preparing for future requirements as they enter into force.

When We Act as a Manufacturer
Where applicable under PPWR, we will prepare and maintain the required Declarations of Conformity (DoC).

When We Act as a Distributor or Importer
We will ensure that the required compliance documentation is available through our records or provided by the relevant supplier.
Documentation will be maintained and made available to competent authorities upon request, as required by the regulation.
Should any compliance risks or potential non-conformities be identified, we will communicate transparently with affected customers and stakeholders.
