Telko has gotten its sustainability assessment results from EcoVadis. Telko was ranked in the best quarter and awarded with the silver medal for 2020. We got better results than 76 percent of the companies in the same branch.
Sustainability includes environmental, social and ethical performance. The EcoVadis sustainability assessment is an evaluation of how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability and corporate social responsibility into its business and management systems. The performance levels are rated with Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze medals.
The evaluated fields were Environment, Labor and human rights, Ethics plus Sustainable procurement. ’’EcoVadis assessment gives a good objective picture of where we are with our responsibility work right now and in which areas we should make improvements. Also it is encouraging to see that we belong to the best quarter compared to other companies operating in similar business.’’, says Piia Appelqvist, Telko HSEQ Manager.

Assessments are made by international experts and tailored according to the industry sector, country and company size.
