Fire Safety Cabinets
Specialised storage solutions Lithium-ion battery charging cabinets, Radiovault cabinets, Fire vault cabinets and Chemicals vault cabinets for all your workplace needs.
All Cabinets are basically fire safety cabinets with different special features depending on the intended use. Type 90 cabinets are preferred for their 90‑minute fire resistance.
Safety Cabinet Standards
Fire test
The temperature increase inside the cabinet should not exceed 180K or 200°C.
According to the time taken to reach this temperature, the cabinet will be classified as Type 15, 30, 60 or 90 min.
These different flammability classes allow leaving sufficient time for the staff to leave the laboratory and for the firefighters to get in before the stored flammable products may cause fire.
Each Emtez cabinet model has passed the compliance control according to standard EN14470-1 and it has the certificates of tests carried out by Bureau Veritas (BV).
Construction
The cabinet doors must close automatically in case of fire.
The side and rear walls must have the same construction and the same thickness.
The requirements of the standard cover the cabinet construction itself and its capacity to withstand external fire conditions (fire tests
carried out according to ISO 834-1 [1] and EN 1363-1). The tray volume must contain: at least 110% of the volume of the largest container stored in the cabinet or 10% of the total volume stored.
Signaling
The cabinets must be equipped with suitable signals: standard pictograms complying with ISO 3864 (inflammables), maximum load per shelf, fire resistance of the model (15, 30, 60 or 90 minutes).
Quality Control
Safety cabinet manufacturing is submitted to a continuous and extremely rigorous check by Bureau Veritas. So twice a year, BV checks the production and verifies the quality and the manufacturing process.
LithiumVault Charging Cabinets
Storage cabinets for lithium-ion batteries
Safely store your lithium-ion batteries with our range of 90-minute fire-resistant cabinets. Each cabinet is certified to EN 14470-1. Depending on the model, additional facilities are included for monitoring, notifying and suppressing potential incidents. Other models include alarm & sensors for measuring temperatures and the atmosphere to detect anything that may be regarded as abnormal. Alternative suppression systems FirePro are available to combat thermal runaways which would generally pose a massive risk without one of these cabinets. A control panel (CP) allows for the suppression and alarms to be monitored and controlled and set by people managing the cabinet which could prevent a problem from occurring at all.
The selections also include Quarantine series submerging stored batteries into the water Quarantine tank.
Manufactured from steel, providing a durable shell to protect your local environment. Rock wool insulation panels, certified non-combustible A2-s1-d0 per EN 13501-1, validated through destructive testing per EN 1363-1 for 90-minute fire resistance.
Advanced Monitoring & Control
Integrated alarm and sensor systems for temperature and atmospheric monitoring.
Abnormal condition detection to prevent incidents before escalation.
