Telko acquires Swed Handling Group

Telko Oy, a leading Finnish supplier of plastic raw materials, industrial chemicals, and lubricants has agreed today to acquire the entire share capital of Swed Handling AB including its subsidiaries Kebelco AB, Kemiverken AB, Swed Handling Transport AB and the associated company CrossChem Sweden AB.

 

Kebelco, which is a technical food ingredient distributor, will operate as part of Aspo’s other subsidiary Leipurin Oyj.   

 

Swed Handling AB is a full-service supplier of industrial chemicals that is primarily suppling to Swedish industry. With a wide range of products and reliable deliveries thanks to the fully owned transport company Swed Handling Transport AB. The business is characterised by short decision-making paths, personal commitment, extensive knowledge, and well-developed sustainable solutions. Swed Handling Group employs 95 people and has a turnover of about 60 million euros.

 

The transaction will require the competition authority's approval before closing. It is estimated that the acquisition will be completed during the third quarter of 2024. The current owners of Swed Handling are committed to continue in their current roles.
